Scheduling

Capture the beauty of your pregnancy with a maternity photography session. I recommend scheduling your session between 29 and 35 weeks. However, if your schedule doesn’t allow for that, I’m happy to work with you on timing. Contact me to book your session and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Maternity Photoshoot

Don’t worry if this is your first photography session. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, beautiful, and empowered. Throughout your personalized pregnancy photoshoot, I’ll be there to guide you on posing, wardrobe, and everything else you need. And partners are always welcome to join in on the fun!

I recommend scheduling your maternity portrait session when you’re around 30-34 weeks pregnant. At this stage, you’re likely feeling your best and most comfortable, which allows us to capture stunning photos that perfectly showcase your pregnancy journey.

My studio is conveniently located in Lynn Valley, North Vancouver, with easy access off the highway. You can find me at 1208 Frederick Rd. I look forward to welcoming you to my beautiful studio space!

Yes, I provide a full wardrobe for your maternity photo shoot. It includes an exquisite selection of beautiful sheer Italian silks and other fabrics for draping, as well as stunning gowns and timeless/classic dresses. I’m passionate about making sure you look and feel your best, and I believe that having a variety of wardrobe options is an essential part of achieving that.

Absolutely! I love it when partners get involved in the maternity photo shoot. Your kids are welcome to join in on the fun as well. It’s important to me that everyone feels comfortable and included, and I’ll work with you to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment for the whole family.

I’ll provide you with detailed instructions on how to prepare for your pregnancy photo shoot, and we’ll also go over them during our design consultation. One of the most important things to keep in mind is to pamper yourself with a manicure or pedicure in a neutral color, or do it yourself a day or two before the photo shoot. Your nails will be shown off in the maternity portraits, so it’s important to keep them looking their best. I’m here to help make the preparation process as easy and stress-free as possible.

I understand that many women may feel self-conscious about their appearance during their pregnancy photoshoot, especially with concerns about extra weight, stretch marks, or other perceived imperfections. Rest assured that my goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera. I use lighting and posing techniques that are specifically designed to flatter your figure, and I also offer professional retouching services to enhance your natural beauty. We can discuss any concerns you may have during our consultation so that we can work together to create stunning maternity portraits that showcase your unique beauty.

To make your maternity photo shoot day truly special, I highly recommend treating yourself to professional hair and makeup services. Consider making it a full day of self-care and relaxation by indulging in a massage or other pampering treatments. When you feel relaxed and beautiful, it will show in your photos. If you need any recommendations for hair and makeup artists, please don’t hesitate to ask!
