There is nothing quite like capturing the journey into motherhood in a maternity photo. I love creating art for my clients at their custom maternity photoshoot in my North Vancouver studio. I want to capture your pregnancy glow and the beautiful connection with your baby. As a fine art photographer, I love to offer my clients several different types of maternity sessions as well as endless options for gowns and how the images are styled. Studio maternity sessions have limitless possibilities for being creative. Not just in the backgrounds we use but also in the way I use the light to create different looks and effects.
Backlighting is one of my favourite ways of capturing my stunning moms-to-be. I love the way the light wraps around and highlights my pregnant moms.
Typically I use this type of lighting with white or lighter coloured gowns and fabrics. I have over fifty maternity gowns, silks and textiles for my clients to choose from.
Rim light and silhouettes are two more lighting scenarios I love to capture during our maternity photo shoot and add to your gallery.
I love to capture movement in your images. I can achieve this using gowns with a lot of movement in their fabric or using a professional hair fan to add volume to your hair.
