North Vancouver Newborn Photography – There is so much content online of new parents sharing the things that they didn’t use from their baby registry. In fact, I’ve even written an article on that very topic here. But what about the flip side? What are the 5 baby registry items that you shouldn’t skip?
As a quick disclaimer, everyone has different needs, and these items might not be for you. Your baby registry should be individual, so take what speaks to you from this list!
- Photography
Setting up a cash fund to pay for gorgeous photos of your new baby is never a bad idea. From maternity shoots to newborn photos to a 1-year-old smash cake, photo shoots can add up in cost. While slightly on the spendy side, photos last forever and are one of the top items that new parents splurge on.
- Group Gifting Large Items
Having a baby is expensive! Giving your loved ones the option to join together and cross big items off of your list can be extremely helpful. Some big-ticket items that you should look into adding group gifting to are: cribs, strollers, bassinets, and car seats.
- Storage Solutions for New Baby
One thing that new moms always seem to struggle with is where to put all of the baby’s stuff in their home. With so many new belongings (and tiny ones at that!) coming into the home, it can be easy to let baby stuff take over your life. Storage is a must!
- Nursery Decorations
Your chosen nursery decor can add up! Try and outsource these costs to your baby registry. Some of the decor items you might want to add to the list are rugs, lamps, chairs, and artwork! People will love to be part of the design of the nursery through your registry!
